The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) expressed its appreciation to all parties and government agencies for their involvement in helping to make the flood relief mission in Kerling a success today.
MPHS President, Mohd Hasry said, the cleaning operation is still continuing today to complete some areas that are still not finished, especially in Kampung Jawa. On this day as well, MPHS volunteers will also be assisted by PBT friends and other government agencies who are willing to go to the field to help the flood victims in this district.

An estimated total of 340 flood disaster volunteers consisting of several friends of the Selangor Local Authority (PBT) and other government agencies were also present to help with the clean-up work. Among the agencies involved are as follows:

According to him, the volunteer members today have been divided into 4 zones and each zone has been given certain tasks such as cleaning public buildings, residential areas, main roads, mosques, public halls and futsal fields.

Alhamdulillah, until 1.30 this afternoon, almost 99% of the cleaning work has been successfully carried out. Thank you for the contribution of PBT friends and government agencies who came to help so that the cleaning work can be done comprehensively in the areas involved," he said.
