A total of 17 officers and staff of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council consisting of the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Department, the Enforcement Department, the Urban Planning Department, the Building Department, the Corporate Division together with two members of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) have inspected a premises that is carrying out activities collect / sell used clothes at lot 792, Jalan KKB – Rasa (Ladang Ulu Selangor), Mukim Rasa. During the inspection, one of the premises workers was loading the old clothes into a trailer truck using an excavator.
As a result of further investigation, it was found that the premises in question did not have approval/permission from any agency including MPHS. The owner also failed to submit any documents to the MPHS. This inspection operation was led by Encik Muhammad Yusairi bin Azman (Assistant Environmental Health Officer, Department of Solid Waste Management and Public Cleaning, MPHS). He has explained the offenses committed by the premises owner and the confiscation action that will be implemented.
