In the spirit of love for the sustainability of nature, the leading company MR DIY Trading Sdn Bhd together with the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) collaborated to implement a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project in the Sg Recreation area. Kedondong, Batang Kali.
The main focus of this project is implemented following the problem of disposal of waste left by visitors who visit the area. A total of 80 volunteers consisting of MPHS staff, MR DIY, JPS Hulu Selangor, Civil Defense Force (APM), District Forestry Department and Orang Asli Welfare Department (JAKOA) were involved in the program today.
This CSR project involves plogging activities, renovating the waqf and painting the buildings found in this recreation area. The estimated weight of the weight of the waste that has been successfully collected is as much as 300 kg which consists of plastic waste, bottles, clothes and many more.
Symbolic of the inauguration of this CSR project is the Ceremony of Handing over and Installing the Main Signs as well as warning and warning signs for visitors to this area. The program was attended by Tuan Mohd Hasry bin Nor Mohd, President of MPHS and Dato Azlam Shah bin Alias, Chairman of MR D.IY. Also present together were Mr. Andrian Ong, Chief Executive Officer of MR DIY and Mr. Henry Woon, Vice Chairman of Human Resource Management of MR DIY
Mr President, I am very grateful to the MR DIY Company who are willing to collaborate in this project with the MPHS towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). He also reminded the visitors to take care of nature and safety in this area. He also reminded the public to carry out a campaign to bring home the waste produced so that incidents such as rat urine and dengue can be avoided.
