MPHS through the Landscape Department held a presentation briefing on the Community Garden Policy 2022 online to the participants involved with the Community Garden Program.
The Community Garden Policy outlined by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government was presented by LAr. Mohd Fadhil bin Mohd Lani, Director of the Landscape Department.
This Community Garden Policy was introduced by KPKT with the aim of redeveloping community gardens in an organized, systematic, organic and sustainable manner in urban areas and in accordance with existing rules and procedures. This policy also encourages housing communities to grow crops in housing areas.
Also presented in the same session was the Structural Permit Exemption for community gardens which was presented by Puan Nurul Huda binti Khairuddin, Assistant Landscape Architect.
