The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) has received a visit from Invest Selangor Berhad for the purpose of the Industrial Area Classification Site Visit in the Hulu Selangor district. The visit was also attended by several Departments & Agencies such as MIDA Selangor, PLANMalaysia@Selangor, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Air Selangor and MPHS internal departments. The visit was welcomed by Mr. Shaiful Rizza bin Hj. Piamin, Deputy Secretary, MPHS.

Among the Hulu Selangor Industrial Areas involved for this year are:
- Light Industry, Kalumpang
- Miel Industry, Batang Kali
- Industrial Monorail, Choh River
- Jasmine Industry, Bukit Beruntung.
Each industrial area will be evaluated based on the guidelines and rating of the infrastructure features and facilities available in the industrial area. The purpose of classifying this industrial area is important in creating a more conducive environment, planned and systematic management. At the same time, it is able to attract investors to invest in the State of Selangor and will improve the image of the State of Selangor as a rapidly developing state and a center for investment in the region.
