MPHS President, Tuan Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd handed over teaching aids and physiotherapy equipment at PDK Kuala Kubu Bharu, yesterday.
The handing over of these aids is part of the Special PWD Award Program. 8 other PDK in this District also received aids and physiotherapy equipment. MPHS through the Department of Community Development organizes the Special Disabled Persons Award Program which, among other things, aims to give exposure to special children to live life like ordinary people by doing physical activities and giving them new experiences and knowledge. In addition to that, this program also gives awareness to the community on the rights and responsibilities of the Community that needs attention and appropriate assistance.
The President also spent time listening to briefings related to PDK operations and meeting special children here. Also present was the Chairman of PDK, Puan Hjh. Zawiah Shaharun, Mrs. Maizura Mahasan as Supervisor and Mrs. Saripah Bakar, Council Member and PDK Secretary as well as Officer from the Community Development Department of MPHS.
