A friendly session of the Morning Drink Program between the Chairman of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) namely Tuan Mohd Hasry bin Nor Mohd and the Heads of the Hulu Selangor District Department was held at Frasey Valley on 10 December 2021.

More than 26 Heads of Departments in the Hulu Selangor District were present to make this program a success with MPHS directors and department heads also present. This meeting is the first for the President together with the Heads of District Departments since he started serving in MPHS and the first physical gathering for the Hulu Selangor District Departments since the upgrading of the Hulu Selangor District Council to the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council on 21 October 2021 .

This morning's relaxed program was held as a medium to get to know each other between the Top Management of MPHS and the Heads of Hulu Selangor District Departments. Indirectly, this program can also be used as a platform to discuss current issues happening in this district.
Tuan Mohd Hasry said, "At the Local Authority (PBT), we no longer only function as service providers, but function as a catalyst for local development which will ultimately determine the progress of the entire area. This is a huge responsibility to carry out. To achieve that goal, service improvement, service innovation, comprehensive involvement and management efficiency are very important elements in order to achieve the goal of democratizing PBT.

"Thus, as part of the Local Authority's administrative system, the District Departments also play a significant role in shaping the efficiency and transparency of service delivery to the people. Today's netizens are clearly very easy to judge the efforts of civil servants. We can no longer be in the old groove with the traditional way of solving issues with methods that are no longer relevant," he said.

In the ceremony, Mr. Yang Dipertua also presented souvenirs to all the guests present as a token of remembrance and thanks for the contributions of all agencies either directly or indirectly in helping the successful upgrading of the Hulu Selangor District Council to the Hulu Municipal Council Selangor.
