World #QuranHour 2021
The Hulu Selangor District Council (MDHS) took the opportunity to take advantage of the month of Ramadan this year by participating in reading the Al-Quran for 1 hour as a sign of support for the organization of the World #QuranHour 2021 on 6 May 2021 corresponding to 24 Ramadan 2021.
This year, Yayasan Warisan Ummah Ikhlas (WUIF) as the organizer of the #QuranHour 2021 program has chosen surah Al-Mulk which means government as the surah of choice.
This coincides with the current state of the country which is trying to fight the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Themed 'A Kind and Compassionate World', World #QuranHour 2021 invites Muslims in this country to take it seriously and obey the government's instructions in an effort to break the chain of Covid-19 pandemic infections.
Al-Mulk was chosen because it contained various motivational elements for the revival of the ummah in accordance with the slogan Better Family, Better Organization, Better Nation. It is hoped that he will be able to lead the solution to the pandemic challenges that the country is currently facing.
Surah al-Mulk, among other things, explains about improving the lives of individuals, taking care of the life of society and the country so that it is always guided.
Without the limits guided by the Quran, society becomes lame and can cause great harm because it involves the lives of every human being, not just the individual.
