The Hulu Selangor District Council (MDHS) introduced ONEBill which is an e-billing system to make it easier for customers to check assessment tax and rent in addition to getting MDHS bills and making payments online.
This system was introduced to replace the traditional method of sending physical bills to the method of sending bills electronically through the MDHS portal.
Problems often arise every tax season when customers inform that they have not received MDHS bills. Usually, this happens when the tax owner buys a house but does not live in it. In addition, the mailing address was not updated causing the bills that were sent not to arrive.
To access this system, customers should visit the official portal of the Hulu Selangor District Council at  https://www.mdhs.gov.my  and look at the online application and click on E-Billing (Tax, Rent, Collateral, Miscellaneous).
Then, the customer will be connected to the e-billing website  https://ebilling.mdhs.gov.my:ÂÂ
Customers can download the bill in PDF format and can enter an email address to receive a copy of the bill. As for payment, the payment process will be connected directly to the internet banking portal chosen by the user whether they want to use online banking, credit card and e-wallet. An official payment receipt will be issued and the customer can print the receipt for storage
The system was introduced to make it easier for customers to make their own checks and to avoid cash risks, i.e. negligence or user safety risks. Customers can make cashless payments and no longer need to come to the MDHS office because this system will operate automatically starting March 2, 2021.
