29 APPLICANTS RECEIVE A SPECIAL GRANT OF SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY 2.0 ORGANIZATION
HULU SELANGOR MUNICIPAL COUNCIL
The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) presented the 2023 Sustainable Community Special Grant 2.0 to 29 recipients in an Afternoon Party held at Dewan Merdeka Kuala Kubu Bahru on 04 July 2023 (Tuesday).
The handover ceremony was completed by Yang Berhormat Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Local Government and Public Transport Exco. Also present at the event were Tuan Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd, MPHS President, TPr Khairulzaman Ibrahim, Director of PLANMalaysia@Selangor, Superintendent Ahmad Faizal bin Tahrim, Hulu Selangor District Police Chief, Puan Nor Shazilah binti Ibrahim, Assistant Director of UPEN Selangor PBT Section as well as Council Members, Government Agencies and MPHS Director / Head of Division.
The year 2023 is the 2nd year of organizing this program with an allocation of RM 120,000.00 compared to the year 2022 of RM 100,000.00. At the event, 29 grant recipients were made up of 7 recipients for the Community Category, 3 for the NGO Category, 17 for the Educational Institution Category and 2 recipients for the Religious Institution Category.
The Honorable Tuan Ng Sze Han in his speech congratulated the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council for successfully implementing a new initiative like this with a different concept to encourage the community to jointly implement new programs and innovations in line with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
