375 RECIPIENTS OF RAMADHAN PILGRIMAGE PROGRAM CONTRIBUTIONS ORGANIZED BY MPHS
Ahead of the coming month of Ramadhan, the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) through the Community Development Department has held a Ramadhan Pilgrimage Program on 18 March 2023.
This program is held with the aim of providing assistance and donations to those in need to prepare for the arrival of the month of Ramadhan. In addition, through this program it is also hoped to strengthen the relationship between MPHS and the surrounding community in Hulu Selangor
The selection of recipients is among those who are less able such as single mothers, orphans and others who are deemed worthy based on the results of the observations of area council members. Donations are only given to Muslim recipients in celebration of the coming of the month of Ramadhan.
There are 25 councilor area zones in Hulu Selangor and contributions are submitted by the respective zone councilors. A total of 15 recipients in each zone and a total of 375 recipients.
The selected recipients received Segi Fresh vouchers amounting to RM100 from MPHS and Segi Freh also cooperated in this program by donating chilli sauce and dates to the recipients.
Hopefully the Ramadan Pilgrimage Program this time can create a network, a whole, strong and harmonious relationship especially in the local community and hopefully programs like this will be able to continue in the future.
