'BRAINSTORMING' WORKSHOP AND IMPLEMENTATION TRAINING PROCESSES 3 TO 6 ONLINE OSC 3.0 PLUS SYSTEM WITH INTERNAL TECHNICAL AGENCY (ATD) OF HULU SELANGOR MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, DEVELOPERS AND 'PRINCIPLE SUBMITTING PERSON' (PSP).
A 'BRAINSTORMING' workshop AND IMPLEMENTATION TRAINING OF PROCESSES 3 TO 6 ONLINE OSC 3.0 PLUS SYSTEM WITH INTERNAL TECHNICAL AGENCY (ATD) HULU SELANGOR MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, DEVELOPERS AND 'PRINCIPLE SUBMITTING PERSON' (PSP) was held on 22 December 2022 at Dewan Merdeka, Kuala Kubu Baru.
A total of 50 participants participated in this workshop consisting of the Internal Technical Agency (ATD), MPHS which is the Town Planning Department, the Building Department, the Engineering Department, the Landscape Department, the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleaning Department and the Building Commissioner's Division (COB). Also participating were representatives of the developer's side consisting of developers who play a major role in development in the Hulu Selangor District such as Ringgit Muhibbah Sdn. Bhd., NCT Platinum Sdn. Bhd., Medan Prestasi Sdn. Bhd., CLH Development Sdn. Bhd. and Panca Resmi Sdn. Bhd.
The morning session started with the Implementation Training of Processes 3 to 6 of the OSC 3.0 Plus Online System conducted by the speaker Mrs. Norfilzah binti Maizam, (Assistant Engineer (Civil)) together with the moderator Ms. Noorhidayatul Nazira binti Mohd Yusof, (Assistant Town and Country Planner) and Puan Nor Alia binti Mohamad Zakri, (Assistant Engineer (Building).
The atmosphere of the discussion became heated with various questions and suggestions for improvement from the participants consisting of Ir. Basheer bin Ahamed Maideen from Nadi Consult, Ar. Len Beng Hooi from Architect Len and Tpr. Dr. Ghani bin Che Wil.
Developer representatives also provided input and suggested improvements to help boost development in the Hulu Selangor District with the OSC Division acting as a development facilitator. The ATDs also contributed and shared their opinions during the joint question and answer session.
Next, the afternoon session was animated with a presentation on LCCF and sustainable development in Hulu Selangor by the representative of the Director of the Urban Planning Department, Mr. Nurazhar bin Muhamad Jaini. Under the management of the Director of the City Planning Department, MPHS TPr. Azlina binti Mokhtar and especially Mr. Nurazhar bin Muhamad Jaini, MPHS have successfully won Second Place for the Best Sustainable City 2022 Municipal Category from KPKT.
In addition, MPHS was also recognized as the Happiest City by PLAN Malaysia. Next, obtained a Diamond for the LCCF Award from Malaysia Greentech.
It is the hope of the participants and developers that suggestions for improvement through this workshop can be channeled to the right channel. This is important for Hulu Selangor District to successfully attract more investors to drive the economy in Hulu Selangor District. Hopefully the increased momentum of investors to the Hulu Selangor District can achieve the core of the mission & vision of MPHS.
