The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) took confiscation action against construction materials for telecommunication tower structures owned by private companies because they were found to have placed the construction materials in a public place without the permission of MPHS on the open area of ​​MPHS, Kampung Asam Kumbang, Kuala Kubu Bharu on 1 March 2022.
The operation which started at 9.05 am was attended by 2 MPHS Building Department staff, 1 enforcement member and a panel of contractors appointed by MPHS.
According to the Chairman of MPHS, Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd, initial action has been taken by the council by issuing a notice order on 14.1.2022 for the owner of the structure to remove/move the structure of the telecommunication tower from that location. After the given period has expired, we find that the owner of the structure has failed to comply with the instructions issued.
According to him, confiscation action has been taken on the structure of the telecommunications tower and taken to the Enforcement Detention Depot for detention and further action. This removal/transfer action has been implemented under sec. 46(3), Roads, Drains And Buildings Act 1974.
