Demolition operations against obstacles in the common property area (garage construction without permission)
The failure of the plot owner to comply with the 3 notices issued by JMB Seri Inai represented by the registered management agent GVR Property Management and Services has previously led to the demolition operation on the unauthorized construction which was held yesterday at Pangsapuri Seri Inai, Bukit Sentosa.
This enforcement action is the result of a written complaint by the plot owners in this apartment regarding the problem of "parking stamps" and the construction of garages without permission which is becoming more prevalent. This offense is under sub-paragraphs 20(1) and 25(4) of the Third Schedule of the Bylaws, Strata Management (Maintenance and Management) Regulations 2015.
This demolition operation was carried out by the management agent GVR Property Management and Services, which also involved 18 members of the Hulu Selangor District Council consisting of the Enforcement Department, the Building Department, the Building Commissioner's Division (COB) and two members of the Bukit Sentosa Police Station.
The Hulu Selangor District Council encourages all JMBs and MCs to be able to enforce the Bylaws in their development areas in order to resolve problems and complaints that arise as a result of violations of the Bylaws.
