MPHS HELPS PAY PTA FEES THROUGH ENDOWMENTS
In conjunction with the Selangor Caring Tour program which was held at Jalan Orkid, Bukit Sentosa on 4 December 2022, the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) has distributed the benefits of the endowment fund to those in need.
An Endowment Fund has been established at MPHS to achieve the goal of sustainable development and MPHS is the only PBT in Malaysia that has successfully established this endowment fund.
Through the establishment of this fund, MPHS has focused on 3 of the 17 goals targeted by the United Nations (UN), namely:
Goal 1: No Poverty
Goal 2 : No Hunger
Goal 4 : Quality education
MPHS President, Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd said, "Endowment is one of the ways we share wealth and income with others who are more in need.
Today, MPHS is pleased to distribute an endowment benefit of RM 37,252. 00 to fund PIBG fees for 1465 students in 17 selected schools in Hulu Selangor.
Hopefully, this donation will be able to ease the burden of their families as they face the opening session of the new school later, he said.
The handover of the donation was completed by YAB Dato' Selangor Menteri Besar, Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari to YBhg Dato' Hj. Rosli bin Hj. Hashim, PTA Chairman of Hulu Selangor district.
