The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) held an Afternoon Party with the Selangor Sukma Contingent for the Wusyu and Karate Do event held at Hotel Royale Chulan, Damansara on 9 September 2022.
The ceremony was held for a friendly session and the presentation of souvenirs to the athletes of the event. Also present was the President of MPHS, YBrs. Tuan Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd and Deputy President of MPHS, Tuan Awaluddin Zakaria and Council Members.
As the adoptive father, MPHS will provide assistance with equipment & supplies in the form of ringgit money with a total amount for both contingents of RM 10,000.00.
In addition, some other assistance was also given to help the athletes throughout the duration of the tournament, including vehicle assistance for athlete movement, meal allowances, tournament t-shirts and shoe bags for each.
In the event, YDP MPHS, Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd also delivered a message to all athletes and management to be able to protect the good name of MPHS as a foster father, as well as the good name of the contingent throughout the tournament.
The athletes are also reminded to take care of health and safety so as not to interfere with the performance of each athlete to compete, as well as to work hard to achieve victory and bring success home.
Several other incentives will be given by MPHS to both contingents of souls this time, including cash incentives for the athletes if they can bring home a gold, silver or bronze medal.
