UNDERSTANDING WORKSHOP AND FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION (FGD) FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL (SDG) REPORT OF THE UPPER SELANGOR MUNICIPAL COUNCIL (MPHS)
The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council held an Understanding Workshop and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the Preparation of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Direction Report of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council on 13 April 2023 (Thursday) at the Templers Ballroom, Setia Eco Templer, Rawang.
This workshop is implementedin collaboration with Urbanice Malaysia as a consultant for the preparation of this report. A total of 110 Participants consisting of MPHS Top Management, MPHS Council Members, MPHS Directors and Division Heads, MPHS Support Staff, District and State Government Agencies, Community Representatives and NGOs in Hulu Selangor District.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide initial exposure related to the Sustainable Development Goals as well as build capacity on urban sustainability at the community level in the Hulu Selangor District.
The workshop was conducted by the Urbanice Malaysia Task Force led by Ybrs. Dr. Azmizam bin Abd Rashid, Timb. Chief Executive of Urbanice Malaysia.
The Closing Ceremony was completed by Ybrs. Tuan Mohd Hasry bin Nor Mohd, Chairman of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council. Also present at this workshop was Tuan Awaluddin bin Zakaria, Deputy Chairman of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council.
MPHS hopes that all the input given by the participants at this workshop can be used as a starting point in improving the cooperation and services provided by all agencies to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
