Congratulations to all MPHS citizens for the 5 Star Recognition for the Local Authority Star Rating System Evaluation as announced in the 2023 Local Authority Convention held at the Ipoh Convention Center (ICC) yesterday.
This 2-day convention brings together all PBTs throughout Malaysia which, among other things, aims to provide a forum for discussion across State borders for PBTs to voice views and ideas constructively regarding the PBT's responsibility towards residents and stakeholders, based on the diversity of municipal service management in their respective PBT administrative areas; and
Providing opportunities for sharing experiences related to solving innovative and creative municipal issues holistically through the involvement of industry players, academics, Government departments/agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in panel sessions and presentations planned for this Convention. Also present in this Convention, the Honorable Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Local Government Development, the President, YBrs. Tuan Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd, Deputy President, Tuan Awaluddin Zakaria, Council Members and Department Directors.
In the same ceremony, MPHS also received an Award for the Best Municipal PBT for the Category of Community Participation and Residents' Views.
MPHS also expresses a million thanks to all the residents of Hulu Selangor who always provide good cooperation, constructive criticism and feedback and strong support for the programs and initiatives carried out. Hopefully we can continue this close cooperation in order to develop the Hulu Selangor District.
