The Hulu Selangor District Council (MDHS) was today successfully awarded 3 stars for the Quality Environmental Practices Certification (QE/5S) by the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) with annual savings of RM 129,874.50 on 29 December 2020 and valid for 1 year.
Despite the constraints of the Covid-19 epidemic, MDHS does not prevent MDHS from continuing to commit to the practice of 5s By creating a conducive, safe, cheerful and tidy work environment to create a quality work culture based on consensus for the strengthening of the organization.
Mr. Dr. Mohd Azhar bin Mohamed Ali, Chairman of MDHS said, "5S practice will continue and improvements are always made to ensure this success can continue in the future. The implementation of 5S Practices at MDHS can not only improve service quality, cost savings and simplify the work process but also add value to the image of MDHS as a whole".
Earlier, MDHS was also awarded MS ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management System without any non-conformity (NCR) by Sirim Qas International Sdn. Bhd.
The President of MDHS expressed his gratitude and congratulated all MDHS citizens for their cooperation in achieving this recognition.
