The Hulu Selangor District Council (MDHS) welcomes the arrival of the 9th Yang Dipertua of the MDHS, His Excellency Tuan Mohd Hasry bin Nor Mohd, at the Hulu Selangor District Council Headquarters, Kuala Kubu Bharu on 8 September 2021.
The arrival of the President was greeted with a salute by members of the MDHS Enforcement and continued with the President's Oath Ceremony held online.

The swearing-in ceremony was witnessed by His Highness Raja Dato' Muzaffar bin Raja Redzwa, the Chief of the Hulu Selangor District, Awaluddin bin Zakaria, Deputy YDP MDHS, Council Members, Directors and Department Heads.

Mohd Hasry Nor Mohd congratulated and congratulated the Hulu Selangor District Council for being upgraded to the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council on 21 October 2021. According to him, "I will ensure that the efforts of the previous Yang Dipertua will be continued in line with the current administrative pattern in ensuring recognition as a municipality can be realized successfully".

He said further, "this recognition will indirectly have a positive impact on the people of Hulu Selangor as well as those bordering it with the influx of foreign investors who play an important role in boosting the local tourism and manufacturing sectors. With good municipal facilities, we expect the well-being and standard of living of the people to be better".

"PBT which has just been upgraded to a municipal council necessarily needs an efficient service delivery system. All the challenges that exist need to be dealt with properly by increasing the efficiency of human capital optimally through the transformation of work culture".

The President was also given a briefing on MDHS operations in a session with Council management.
